THANK YOU FROM AKRON CHILDREN’S FOR OUR SUCCESSFUL RADIOTHON EVENTS!

Thank you so much for your support of Akron Children’s and Akron Children’s Mahoning Valley during our Annual Radiothon Events that occurred simultaneously on Thursday 2/8 and Friday 2/9! These events were on site for the second time since Covid at our Akron campus (98.1 KDD Radiothon) and for the first time since Covid at our Mahoning Valley campus (Miracles and Promises Radiothon).

Since 2000, the 98.1 KDD Radiothon has provided patients and families the opportunity to share their personal stories on the air, prompting hundreds of listeners to call in with pledges to Akron Children’s Hospital. This annual fundraiser has raised more than $11.5 million for the hospital since its beginning, and this year, on our 25th anniversary, we raised $428,326.00!

The Miracles and Promises Radiothon broadcasts live on Mix 98.9 Youngstown and 570 WKBN. This annual fundraiser has raised more than $2.5 million for Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley since its beginning, and this year we raised $256,234.00!
