Support Akron Children’s During our Annual Radiothon Event on Thursday 2/13 and Friday 2/14!

Akron Children’s is hosting our annual Radiothon event on Thursday 2/13 and Friday 2/14 at both our Akron campus (98.1 KDD Radiothon) and Mahoning Valley campus (Miracles and Promises Radiothon). 98.1 WKDD will be the radio station for Akron Children’s main campus and Mix 98.9 Youngstown and 570 WKBN will be the radio station for our Mahoning Valley campus.

Since 2000, the 98.1 KDD Radiothon has provided patients and families the opportunity to share their personal stories on the air, prompting hundreds of listeners to call in with pledges to Akron Children’s Hospital. This annual fundraiser has raised more than $11.5 million for the hospital since its beginning, and this year is our 26th anniversary!

The Miracles and Promises Radiothon broadcasts live on Mix 98.9 Youngstown and 570 WKBN. This annual fundraiser has raised more than $2.5 million for Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley since its beginning.
