Shout Out to Extra Life Akron and Dance Marathons Supporting Akron Children’s!

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is hosting a new conference this year: IGNITE! It is combining Dance Marathon Leadership Conference and Extra Life United. ITS ONLY A WEEK AWAY! In honor of the upcoming conference, I wanted to shout out our Dance Marathons and Extra Life Akron!

Miracle Network Dance Marathon is a student-led, year-round philanthropic movement, uniting students across the United States and Canada in raising critical funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. When you join this empowering movement, you’re equipped to change kids’ health to change the future. This year, our Dance Marathon schools included: Kent State University, Youngstown State University, Walsh University, St. Vincent St. Mary High School, and Mahoning County Career and Technical Center. This year, our Dance Marathon schools raised nearly $60,000.00 for Akron Children’s!

Extra Life is a fundraising program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®. The Extra Life community fundraises year-round to Change Kids’ Health to Change the Future. Donations go to local member hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, and child life services. So far this year, Extra Life Akron has raised over $42,000.00 for Akron Children’s! This year, we are hoping to reach our $750,000.00 lifetime giving!
